IYS Media is a company that produces resource material for the sport of Alpine Skiing.

The company was created by Brian Fearn and Phil Smith primarily to produce Instructional video films in VHS and DVD formats. "Our plan for the future is to produce a series of films and to compliment these films with instructional literature".

Brian and Phil are both directors of IYS Media and are Internationally Qualified Ski Instructors who spend winter seasons teaching the sport of skiing, delivering the philosophies and concept found in these IYS films.

The information contained in all our films is suitable for all levels of skier from novice through to instructors.

Phil Smith (one of the Directors) is the founder and owner of the Improve Your Skiing and Snoworks brands.

IYS Media released its first film in 2004, titled 'ULTIMATE CONTROL'. it proved to be invaluable to the Snoworks and Improve Your Skiing clientele, it sold over 1200 copies, some of which were sent abroad to other English speaking skiers and instructors.

In October 2006 Brian and Phil proudly announce the release of their new film 'Ultimate ALL TERRAIN'.

This film has been in the making for the past 2 years, Phil and Brian believe this is their best to date. It contains information that, as far as they are aware, is used no where else in the world.

This film delves into some of the concepts that were looked at in ULTIMATE CONTROL but in much more depth.

They also look at some new areas that they feel are the key to successful skiing performance.
